North Neighborhood meeting and dinner scheduled for Sept. 20

COLUMBIA, MO (September 19, 2016) - As part of the 2016-2019 Strategic Plan, the City of Columbia will host a North Neighborhood meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Derby Ridge Elementary School, 4000 Derby Ridge Dr. The meeting is open to all residents in the North Neighborhood (map attached).
Prior to the meeting, North Neighborhood residents are invited to share a meal between 5:30 and 6 p.m. at Derby Ridge Elementary. The meal is first come, first served.
The meeting will be a community conversation involving issues raised by citizens living in the North Neighborhood area. Strategic Plan Partner Jim Whitt will facilitate the conversation. This is the first of several neighborhood meetings for the North, Central and East Focus Neighborhoods. Information and data collected from these meetings will be analyzed to determine how to best address the neighborhood issues and results will be communicated to the neighborhoods and community.
The 2016-2019 Strategic Plan is dedicated to making Columbia the best place for everyone to live, work, learn and play.
