SHOOTING IN THE 1500 BLOCK OF SYLVAN LANE

COLUMBIA, MO (September 23, 2016) -                                        SHOOTING IN THE 1500 BLOCK OF SYLVAN LANE

 

On 9/23/16 at 10:23 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Sylvan Lane in reference to a shots heard.

 

Officers arrived on scene and located a black male victim in his late 20’s to early 30’s with a gunshot wound.  The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for his injuries.

 

Witnesses on the scene described seeing a black male suspect running eastbound from Sylvan Lane.  The investigation is ongoing.
