If any streets are not completed Sept 26-28 due to weather or other delays, they will be rescheduled for Sept. 29. Residents on those streets will be notified.

Residents on scheduled streets are asked to have all parked vehicles off of the street by 7 a.m. so crews can begin work in preparation of the street closure. The streets will remain open until school buses have completed their morning routes and will be reopened before their evening routes. In the event of a weather delay, work not completed on the day scheduled will be rescheduled for Thursday, September 29.

Old Hwy 63 should remain open during sealing operations, with flaggers to allow through traffic, but some delays should be expected. On Providence Outer Road (Old Route K), the road will be closed off in sections while other sections are open to allow drivers to access the hotel and surrounding businesses. Flaggers will be on hand to assist with traffic.

The Onyx surface treatment is a fast-drying asphalt roadway and pavement sealing solution designed to extend pavement life. Musselman & Hall is a private contractor working for the City.
