Eighth & Cherry Garage scheduled for closure, maintenance Oct. 7-11  

COLUMBIA, MO (September 27, 2016) - The Public Works Department announced on Tuesday that the Eighth & Cherry Garage is scheduled to be closed to all but hotel valet parking from 6 p.m. Oct. 7 to noon on Oct. 9. Beginning at noon on Oct. 9, the garage will be closed to all parking until 8 a.m. Oct. 11. The parking surface of the garage is in need of a wash-down, repainting and sealing.

Anyone holding a parking permit for the Eighth & Cherry Garage may park in the hourly spaces at the Sixth & Cherry Garage without charge during the closure. Therefore, hourly meters will not be available to anyone who does not have an Eighth & Cherry permit. Signs will be posted.

Thank you for your patience while we maintain the infrastructure investment in the downtown parking garages.
