The City Planning Department held a “concept review” meeting on
July 25, 2008, regarding an approximately 220-acre C-P (Planned Business
District) development proposal located west of the Gans Creek Road/US
Highway 63 interchange, north of Gans Creek Road.  The project, to be
known as “Discovery”, was proposed as mixture of commercial, office,
and residential uses.  A development plan application has not yet been
submitted.

The concept review is an informal discussion and review between the
director of planning and development and the developer to discuss land
use and development concepts, applicable regulations, and other concerns
that may be raised. An application for approval of a development plan
has not been received as of this date. If an application is received,
the department will post additional notices.
