The Planning and Development Department is hosting an Infill Workshop
Series February through April of 2010 as a public forum on “infill”
development. Emerging from the City’s Neighborhood Congress public
meetings, the Infill Workshop Series responds to citizen suggestions for
more information and a forum to discuss the challenges and opportunities
of “infill” development in the City of Columbia. This series is free and
open to the public. Meeting minutes and materials are available on the
Planning Department website at:

o              Location: The Blind Boone Community Center- 301 N
Providence Road
 
Topic –Infill in Practice:Processes, regulation & application 
 
·                 Panel Discussion on challenges & opportunities-
multiple perspectives including developers, architects, and neighborhood
leaders
·                 Group discussion to follow panel discussion 
 
 
Parking Directions: You may park in our parking lot on Boone Drive by
following the one-way streets, marked with yellow arrows, or on Park
Avenue on the South side of the building. The main entrance is located
on the Northwest corner of the building directly off of Boone Drive.
