COLUMBIA HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION AGENDA

Tuesday, May 3, 2011 7:00 P.M.
Room 1A & 1B, City Hall Addition, 701 E. Broadway


 
In lieu of the regularly scheduled meeting, the Commission will be holding a Public Meeting, followed by an Internship Presentation
 
 
I.              PUBLIC MEETING: 7:00 -8:00 P.M.
The public is invited to attend a presentation by Historic Preservation Consultant Deb Sheals on research conducted for an Interactive Historic Map to be launched in the summer of 2011.  Ms. Sheals will present the highlights of her research on the 132 Most Notable and National Register properties to be included in the map. The public is invited to review and comment on the property records to be used in the map. II.            INTERNSHIP PRESENTATION: 8:00 P.M. 
Historic Preservation Intern Leigh Halsey (BA, Architectural Studies, University of Missouri) will present a walking tour project to the Historic Preservation Commission. The walking tour will be available in a brochure and in electronic format on the web as a PDF and as a GoogleMap by June 7, 2011.
