Notice of Public Meeting
Columbia Imagined – Phase II “Who we are?”
September 28, 2011 – 7:00 p.m.
City Hall Addition - Conference Room 1A/1B
 
Come join us for the second round of public engagement meetings related to Columbia Imagined, the City’s new comprehensive plan.  During this meeting, the public will hear presentations describing “Who We Are?”.  Following the presentations attendees will be asked to provide feedback on the topics covered.  This feedback will be used to assist the Comprehensive Plan Task Force, Planning and Zoning Commission, and staff in further developing the plan.
The presentation topics for the evening will include descriptions of “Who We Are? ” in these categories: 


·         Sustainable/liveable communities
·         Accessibility, mobility and sustainability
·         Economic Development
·         Environmental management
·         Infrastructure
·         Intergovernmental management
·         Land use and growth management


 
Want to know details about the background relating to each presentation? ... 
Come 30 minutes early (at 6:30 p.m.).  An informal “Q &A” session will be held where you can meet with members of the Comprehensive Plan Task Force, Planning and Zoning Commission, and staff about the sources of information used to describe “Who Are We?”.  This “Q &A” session will include maps, charts, and graph displays for your review.
