[soccer-l]: Columbia Youth Intro Track Meet - April 23

[Soccer Notifications]

We are less than a week away!

Columbia Parks & Recreation is hosting a Youth Intro Track Meet at Hickman
High School on Sunday, April 23.  Check in time starts at 1:30 pm, and the
events will begin at 2:30 pm.  Walk up registrations will not be allowed at
the meet; so please have your registration forms turned in to Parks &
Recreation no later than Thursday, April 20 by 5pm.

This meet was known formally as the Hershey Track Meet, but that national
program is now defunct.

This meet is for boys and girls ages 6-12 (born 2005-2011) and will have
the following events:
100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, standing long jump, softball throw, 4x100m
relay.

Some events are only available to certain age groups.  Each child can
participate in a maximum of 3 events.  The cost is only $5 per child, and
the the top 3 finishers in each event receive a ribbon.

The registration form is attached.  They can be turned in to the the
downtown Parks & Recreation offices (1 S. 7th Street) or the Armory Sports
& Community Center (701 E. Ash).
