[soccer-l]: Columbia Youth Intro Track & Field Meet - Saturday 4/20

[Soccer Notifications]

Please come participate in the annual Columbia's Youth Intro Track Meet!

Details are as follows:

~Saturday, April 20
~Columbia's Hickman High School Track (1104 N. Providence Rd.)
~Boys and girls Ages 6-12 (born 2012-2018) can participate
~Opening ceremonies begin at 10:00am
~Registration & Payment ($10.00) deadline is Thursday, April 17 to
Columbia Parks
& Recreation offices (1 S. 7th Street) or the Armory Sports & Recreation
Center (701 E. Ash).  Mail-in registrations are also accepted if postmarked
by the deadline to:

A few other things to know about the meet:
~Available events are:  100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, standing long
jump, softball
throw, 4x100m relay (some events are only available to certain age groups).
~No walk up registrations will be allowed the day of the meet.  It
must be handled
by the deadline mentioned above.
~Track shoes / spikes are allowed if you choose to use them.
~Everyone is limited to a maximum of 3 events.  The only exception is if the
4x100 relay is added as a 4th.  But, you need 3 other teammates in the same
age and gender group for that event.  There is a possibility that relay
teams can be put together the day of the meet.
~Top 3 finishers in each event receive a ribbon.
