[Vision-l] Visioning Community Choices Update

[Imagine Columbia’s Future]

Good Afternoon -

On behalf of Visioning Co-Chairs Dianne Drainer and Jeff Williams, thank you
for your participation in last Thursday's Community Choices Open House.
There was a steady flow of participants throughout the day with a total of
470 people voting for their priority strategies. 

The dots have been counted, and the tally is now posted at
http://gocolumbiamo.com/Public_Comm/Visioning/documents/vote-tally.pdf.

Please keep in mind that strategies will NOT be eliminated as a result of
the Community Choices event.  The results simply provide additional
information for the consultants, as they work on the Vision Report which is
due later this year.   

The Vision Committee looks forward to receiving the report and have already
begun discussing review of the commitment and comment cards and preparing
for "what's next."
