Good afternoon, Columbia Vision Partners -

Columbia's Vision Plan and actions to create a connected, informed and
engaged community continue to move forward. Here are a few updates you
may find of interest:

*A new flyer featuring the core Vision summary and statements has been
posted at

*City Council is scheduled to vote on the ordinance to establish the
Columbia Vision Commission (CVC) during the October 6, 2008 City Council
meeting.

Notice regarding the nomination and application process for the CVC

*Mark your calendar for the Keys to the City: Civic Awareness Fair -
Saturday, October 18, 9 a.m. - noon at the ARC.  This event supports the
Governance and Decision Making citizen topic group's goal
“Columbia’s governance is a model of transparency, efficiency
and citizen participation that enjoys the strong confidence of its
residents.”
