During the visioning process, many citizen topic groups recognized the importance of building strong communities through neighborhood associations and other forms of community involvement.

Building Communities NOW workshop will be held Oct. 20
(COLUMBIA, MO) – The public is invited to attend the Building Communities NOW workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 20. The workshop, titled “Running the Show: Meeting Facilitation,” will be held from 6-9 p.m. at the Walton Building, 300 S. Providence Road. Attendees will participate in discussions and role-playing activities related to meeting facilitation skills. There is no cost associated with this workshop and neighborhood leaders are encouraged to attend.
