Dear Visioning Partners -
Thank you for your continued interest in Vision actions and updates.
City Manager Mike Matthes has identified three important goals for city
government:
*Customer Centered Culture
*High Performance
*Strategic Planning
As a former visioning partner, you may recall that strategic planning was
an important theme in several Vision topic areas.
The City of Columbia has initiated a strategic planning process to
establish priority goals and objectives that address the needs of the
community and help align the budget process with key priorities.
Your input is important, and we ask you to take a few minutes to complete
an online Strategic Planning Citizens
Survey<https://www.gocolumbiamo.com/CMS/announcements/announcement.php?id=173>
. See the Strategic Planning Press
Release<http://www.gocolumbiamo.com/Public_Comm/Public_Information/Press_Releases/view.php?id=597>
for
more information.
Additionally, the Community Development Department (formerly Planning &
Zoning, Neighborhood Services and Building & Site Development) is working
with community groups on the comprehensive planning process for growth and
development. We encourage you to find out more at Columbia
Imagined<http://www.gocolumbiamo.com/Planning/Comprehensive_Plan/index.php>
