[youth-baseball-softball-l]: Show Me Shootout tournament

[Youth Baseball/Softball Cancellations]

The following is some important information for teams competing in the Show
Me Shootout softball tournament this weekend.

Saturday morning there is another large event happening at Albert-Oakland
park.  There is a youth triathlon with several participants.  During the
morning, some concessions will need to be made to accommodate both events.
 Please help us out so that everyone had an enjoyable and successful day.

Saturday morning, until 12:00 PM, Blue Ridge Road will be closed.  Teams
for the first three games will need to travel to Albert-Oakland by going to
Vandiver, then Oakland Gravel Road, then Edris.  Parking will be limited
during this time due to the road closure.  Parking will be available in the
small parking lot along Edris and along the west side of Oakland Gravel
Road.

The route for the triathlon run goes around the ball fields.  There will be
staff there to direct the foot traffic into the ball fields as you will
have to cross the path at one place.  Please be courteous and follow the
staff instructions.  Watch for the runners so as not to interrupt their
race.

Also, just a reminder, Albert-Oakland fields have been under renovation.
 At this time there are not shade structures.  You may want to bring tarps
for your teams or umbrellas for spectators.
