Greetings!

Blue Thunder Track Club Outdoor Season Registration Day is around the
corner!  Registration day is set for:

Saturday, March 9
Armory Sports & Recreation Center (701 E. Ash)
Show any time between 2:00-5:00pm

Blue Thunder is gearing up for another successful & award winning season of
sprints, middle distance, long distance, jumps, throws, hurdles, relays and
race walks for young men and women ages 6-18.  In 2023, the club athletes
earned 6 national championships, 22 All-American crowns, 30 regional
championships and is looking to do even better in 2024.

All skill levels are welcome.  The season will begin in April and run
through the end of July. Meets are held in and out of town.  At Summer's
end, Qualifiers will have the opportunity to compete in the AAU National
Junior Olympic Games in Greensboro, N.C.  After the track season ends,
information will be provided for the cross country season in the fall.

The cost to join the club is $125.  Price includes a club tee shirt, AAU
membership, and unlimited sanctioned meets. Cash, check and money orders
will be accepted; and checks are to be made out to Blue Thunder.  We cannot
accept credit or debit cards at registration day.  Please bring proof of
insurance as well as a copy of your child’s birth certificate.  An online
method or registering and paying will be available at our website.

Registration forms can be found at Parks & Recreation offices (1 South
7th), the Armory Sports & Recreation Center or downloaded from the Blue
Thunder website.  Registrations will not be accepted prior to registration
day on March 9.  After that date, forms can be brought to the Armory Sports
& Recreation Center beginning Monday, March 11 between 8:00am-6:00pm M-F.
