[Youth Lacrosse]

*This is the last chance to sign up for the Hershey's Youth Track & Field
meet in Columbia.  We would love to see you come and compete in this *
*FREE **meet!*



This event is open to boys and girls ages 6 - 14 (children born in years
2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 only).



Date:  Saturday, April 26

Time:  9am check in time begins.  Event starts at 10am

Location: Hickman High School Track (1104 N. Providence Rd.)



50, 100, 200, 400 meter dashes, 4 x 100 meter relay 800 & 1600 meter runs,
standing long jump & softball throw (some events are available to certain
age groups only).  Participants can compete in 2 track and 1 field event,
or 2 field and 1 track event.  6-8 year olds (born 2006-2008) are limited
to the 400 meter fun run.



*TRACK SPIKES, SHOES THAT ACCEPT SPIKES, CLEATS OR STARTING BLOCKS CANNOT
BE USED!*


Winners will move on to the state meet (to be held tentatively on Friday,
June 28 in Jefferson City).  Best performances at the state meet have the
chance to compete in Hershey, PA at the North American Finals Meet.  The
trip is paid for by Hershey.  Please turn in a copy of your birth
certificate with registration by Thursday, April 24.  Forms can be found on
the P&R website at www.gocolumbiamo.com.



Turn in registration forms to either Columbia's Parks & Recreation at 1 S. 7
th Street or the Armory Sports Center at 701 E. Ash Street.   You can also
fax the forms to 874-7640, or scan and send to cdcross at gocolumbiamo.com.
