ANNUAL ARTS ORGANIZATION FUNDING
Contracts for fiscal year ‘07 arts funding were sent to arts
organizations on Oct. 26. Signed contracts, revised narratives and/or
budgets and responses to stipulations are due back to the OCA on or
before December 15 and must be received before any payment can be made.
If you have not received your packet or have questions about the process
or what is required of your organization, contact the OCA, 573-874-6386,

OCA MOVE & OPEN HOUSE
The OCA is scheduled to move to the city’s newly renovated Gentry
Building on Tuesday, Nov. 7; phones and computers will likely be down
that entire day. Starting the 7th, the street address for the OCA will
be 1 S. 7th Street. E-mail addresses, phone numbers and the mailing
address, P.O. Box 6015, Col., 65205. will remain the same. 

Join us after the Nov. 13 Commission on Cultural Affairs meeting for an
informal meet and greet with other local arts enthusiasts and members of
the Commission and see the new OCA offices; refreshments will be served.
The Commission meeting starts at 4:15 in the mezzanine conference room
of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. You may sit in on the Commission meeting
or come afterwards for the get-together which will start at
approximately 5:15 in the lobby of the Gentry Building, 1 S. 7th Street.
Arts administrators, board members and volunteers are encouraged to
attend. 

MISSOURI ARTS COUNCIL GRANT INFORMATION
Learn about how to apply for Missouri Arts Council (MAC) grants at a
free how-to workshop presented by MAC staff*Tuesday, Nov. 28, 3-5 p.m.
at the ARC (Activity and Recreation Center), in Columbia, 1701 W. Ash
Street.  Attendance is free, but you are asked to register with the OCA:

SMALL REQUEST FUNDING
The next deadline for Small Request funding applications is December
11...applications will be for the second quarter of the OCA’s funding,
January through March. Requests may be for up to $500. Contact the OCA
for an application form and guidelines, 573-874-6386, or use the on-line
