NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FISCAL YEAR 2012 PUBLIC PROJECT PROPOSALS for COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUNDING  
 
The Community Development Commission for the City of Columbia will hold
a public hearing on May 18, 2011in Room 1A of the new City Hall
building, 701 E. Broadway, to review requests from City Departments for
2012 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.  The Commission
will receive public comment on proposals submitted for six projects for
the use of such funds.  This hearing will include comments to be made on
the City’s housing rehabilitation and repair programs, demolition of
homes, code enforcement in the Neighborhood Response Team Area, and the
construction of a new sidewalk on the north side of Worley between
Clinkscales and Bernadette.  For a complete listing of proposed projects
or for any other information concerning these proposals, please direct

The new City Hall building is a handicap accessible facility.  Any
