NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FISCAL YEAR 2012 AGENCY PROJECT APPLICATIONS FOR 
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS 
 
The Community Development Commission for the City of Columbia will hold a public hearing on June 1, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 1A of the New City Hall building,701 E. Broadway, to review requests from Agencies applying for 2012 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.  The Commission will receive public comment on proposals submitted for seven projects for the use of such funds, including rehabilitation funds for Reality House transitional housing, the Boone County Council on Aging Senior Home Repair Program, improvements to the fire suppression systems at Paquin and Oak Towers public housing, the Ramp Program for Services for Independent Living, improvements to the Boone County Family Health Center, Employment Training Scholarships for Job Point, and a Micro-loan Program for Central Missouri Community Action.
