Transmission line report ready for City Council consideration


The public’s feedback for the proposed southwestern electric transmission
line project has been tabulated on the second route study (Option B). In
July, the City Council will consider the report of the results and they
will direct Columbia Water & Light’s staff on the next step for the
project. This could possibly be a public meeting on both Option A and
Option B. Those interested in knowing when the report is scheduled for
consideration at a Columbia City Council meeting should sign up for e-mail
