*Get Your Spring Biking and Walking Groove On with Updates from Columbia
Parks and Recreation and GetAbout Columbia*

Sunshine and blue skies have finally hit Columbia, and with that comes an
increased interest in walking and biking on Columbia's trail system and
local bike/pedestrian infrastructure. Columbia Parks and Recreation, in
partnership with GetAbout Columbia, is introducing a new City of Columbia
WebMail opportunity to keep residents abreast of the trail openings (four
new destination trails are under construction!), trail conditions* *and on
and off-road programs and events related to biking and walking in Columbia.
You'll be first to get the scoop on the following:

   - Family trail rides and walks
   - Events like Bike, Walk and Wheel Week (mark your calendars for May
   11-18)
   - Active transportation commuting tips
   - Contest giveaways and more!

We promise not to inundate your email - you'll always have an option to
unsubscribe - but we think you'll be excited about planned activities for
the 50 miles of trails currently available in CoMo, as well as tips and
suggestions for getting to where you're going by bike or foot.

*To opt in, please go to the following link and click on the "Trails and
Bikeways" section:
*. As part of our Bike, Walk and Wheel Week promotion, everyone who opts
in from now through May 19 will be entered to win one of two bicycles and
bike shop gift certificates (thank you Walt's, Cyclextreme and
Tryathletics!). *
