Painting scheduled
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department Street Division
announces that Park Mark Inc. will remove and re-stripe pavement
markings beginning Saturday, April 17, weather permitting. The work
should be completed by Sunday, April 25. Weathered centerline markings
will be removed beginning Saturday and repainted beginning Wednesday
evening.
	Sections of streets to be re-striped include Rogers Street,
Forum Boulevard, East Broadway and Stewart Road. Stop bars, crosswalks
and turn arrows will also be painted at some intersections in the
downtown area. 				
	The work will be done during daylight and evening hours.
Motorists       encountering the paint striping equipment should avoid
crossing freshly painted lines and use an alternate route when possible.
Anyone having questions related to the maintenance work planned should
contact the Traffic Division at 874-6292.
