Rollins and Rothwell intersection closure
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced the
intersection of Rollins Road and Rothwell Drive will be closed to thru
traffic to facilitate the installation of reinforced concrete pipe and
storm water inlets along both Rollins Road and Rothwell Drive adjacent
to and through the intersection. This closure is scheduled to begin Dec.
15, weather permitting. This work is in conjunction with a storm water
utility project to alleviate both structure and street flooding in the
vicinity.
	Admire Construction, LLC of Mexico, Mo., was the successful
bidder on the project in the amount of $79,696.80. This project will
consist of 645 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe along with
concrete storm water inlets, sanitary sewer piping, the addition of an
asphalt speed table in the intersection and other incidental work.
	It is anticipated that construction will be completed this
winter. Care should be exercised in the construction area and alternate
routes should be used.
