Chip and seal maintenance program

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced that the
Street Division will continue its annual seal coat maintenance program
Monday, July 26, through Friday, July 30, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.,
weather permitting, on the following streets: Garden Drive  - Primrose
Drive to south end; Jackson Street - Texas Avenue to Creasy Springs
Road; Sondra Avenue - Garth Avenue to Kathy Drive; Lilac Drive - Garden
Drive to Rose Drive; Lily Court - Iris Drive to west end; Grayson Drive
- Barberry Avenue to Dahlia Drive; Primrose Drive - Stadium Boulevard to
Sunflower Street; El Dorado Drive - El Dorado Court to west end; Riviera
Drive - city limits to Smiley Lane; Prairie Ridge Street - Greeley Drive
to Weymeyer Drive; Greeley Drive - Brown Station Road to east end; Haden
Drive - north end to Haven Road; Argyle Road - north end to Haven Road;
Monroe Street - Charles Street to Old Highway 63; Woodrow Street -
Gordon Street to McAlester Street; Ann Street - Broadway to Anthony
Street; Gordon Street - Charles Street to Old Highway 63; Shockley
Street - Bass Avenue to Anthony Street; Bass Avenue - William Street to
College Avenue; and Ammonette Street - east end to Charles Street.
	Care should be exercised when driving through the work area and
when possible, alternate routes should be used. Anyone having questions
related to the work planned should call the Street Division at
874-6289.
