Lane restrictions on Cherry Street between Eighth and Ninth Streets

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Wednesday, July 28, at 7 a.m., Reed
Heating and Air Conditioning, the contractor working for John Ott, will
begin a crane lift operation along the north side of Cherry Street,
between Eighth Street and Ninth Street. This work will result in lane
restrictions in this area. Sidewalks on the north side of Cherry Street
in this area will also be temporarily closed. The work should be
completed and the street should be fully reopened that day, weather
permitting, Wednesday, July 28, at 9 a.m.
	Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution
when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever
possible.
