Rollins Street closed for water line construction
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - Columbia Water and Light is installing a new
water main line under Rollins Street from Providence Road to Maryland
Avenue. The construction work will cause the closure of Rollins Street
beginning July 5 for approximately one month, Monday through Friday, 8
a.m. to 4 p.m. Workers will remove an existing 4-inch water main and
replace it with an 8-inch main to increase the amount of water available
in the area for fighting fires. 
	Since traffic will be detoured, motorists are encouraged to
avoid the area, if possible. Customers will be individually notified if
water service in the area needs to be shut off during the repair. Poor
weather conditions might cause delays in the construction schedule.
