Lane closures on Jacobs Place

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Tuesday, May 11, at 7 a.m., Darren Woods
Excavating, the contractor working for Broadway Shops, L.L.C., will
begin construction of a sanitary sewer main to serve the Broadway Shops.
This work will result in lane closures on Jacobs Place between  Broadway
and Columbia Drive. Two-way traffic will be maintained by flag men
however, minor delays should be expected.  
	The work should be completed and the street should be fully
reopened, weather permitting, that night Tuesday, May 11, at 7 p.m.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in
the construction area and to use an alternate route whenever possible.
