Pavement painting scheduled

COLUMBIA, MO (November 18, 2004) -- The Public Works Department Traffic
Division announces that Park Mark Inc., will be striping pavement
markings beginning Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004 (weather permitting). The
work should be completed by Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004.
Streets to be striped are Vandiver Dr., Tenth St., Sixth St., Stewart
Rd., Elm St., and various other streets will be re-striped.
The striping will be done during daylight and evening hours. Motorists
encountering the paint striping equipment should avoid crossing freshly
painted lines and use an alternate route when possible. Anyone having
questions related to the maintenance work planned should contact the
Traffic Division at 874-6292.
