Street maintenance scheduled

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced that the
Street Division will perform road maintenance on Blackfoot Road from
county maintenance ends,1/10 mile north to the bridge. Work will begin
Thursday, Sept. 9, at 9 a.m. and should be completed by Friday, Sept.
10, at 5 p.m. weather permitting. The maintenance work will require one
lane to be closed intermittently during this time.  
	Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution when driving
through the work area and use alternate routes when possible. Anyone
having questions related to the work planned should call the Street
Division at (573) 874-6289.
