Temporary alley closure between Ninth and Tenth Streets

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Monday, Sept. 20, at 7 a.m., Uptown
Investments will begin repair work on a building at 122 S. Ninth Street.
This work will result in the closure of the alley that runs between
Ninth Street and Tenth Street and is located immediately south of Cherry
Street. 
	The work should be completed and the alley should be reopened,
weather permitting, by Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
