Columbia Transit's Red Route detours at Conley Road

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - Due to road construction, Conley Road will be
closed for approximately three weeks beginning Monday, Oct. 4. Effective
Monday, Columbia Transit will have to detour the Red Route. The detour
will last for the forecasted three weeks or until the effected area is
reopened to traffic.  
	The detour will be as follows: I-70 drive S.E. to US Hwy 63;
left (at light) on US Hwy 63 (south) to the East Broadway exit; right on
East Broadway to Brickton Road.; right on Brickton Road to Trimble Road
(4-way stop); left on Trimble Road back to East Broadway right on East
Broadway; back on route.
	A temporary pickup point during this detour will be established
at the northwest corner of the Brickton Road and Trimble Road
intersection. All passengers who normally use the bus shelter on Conley
Road in front of the Wal-Mart Supercenter or the bus stop near the
Longhorn Steak House will need to temporarily use this pickup point.
