Columbia Transit's 'Your Bike is Your Ticket'

(COLUMBIA, MO) - You don't need a ticket to ride*all you need
is your bike. Columbia Transit is proud to be a participant in the 2005
Bike, Walk & Wheel Week. During the week of May 7-14, just park your
bike on any Columbia Transit bus and ride for free.
We know Columbia MO is on the Go and we want to help you get
there and help save the environment at the same time. For your
convenience, all Columbia Transit buses are equipped with bike racks
capable of holding two bikes at once.
The bike racks accommodate single-seat, two wheeled bikes with
standard size wheels. Collapsible bikes that fold may be brought on the
bus. Tandem bikes and bikes with oversized wheels or training wheels are
not allowed.
Want to join in the festivities, but live too far out? Take the
bus to Wabash Station at 10th & Ash and bike from there to Flat Branch
Park and the MKT.
For more information about Columbia Transit's routes and the
"Your Bike is Your Ticket" campaign, log on to
www.GoColumbiaMo.com (GoBus).
