Continuance of Downtown Alley Approach Replacement Project             
 
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Monday, Dec. 19, I & I Works Inc., the
contractor working for the city, will continue work on the Downtown
Alley Approach Replacement Project. This work will result in the
temporary closure of various alleys in the downtown area. 
	The work should be completed and all alleys should be reopened,
weather permitting, by Friday, Dec. 30, at 7 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
