City publishes Christmas holiday schedule

COLUMBIA, MO (December 22, 2005) -- City offices will be closed on
Monday, Dec. 26, in observance of Christmas. Offices will reopen on
Tuesday, Dec. 27.

Residential refuse and recycling collection will be delayed one day
throughout the week. Questions concerning holiday refuse collection
should be directed to the Solid Waste Division at 874-6291.

City buses will not operate, the sanitary landfill will be closed and
parking meter regulations will not be enforced on Dec. 26. Though
administrative offices for both the Police and Fire Departments will be
closed on Dec. 26, all other emergency services will be available.
