New service makes paying your city utility bill convenient, fast and
easy

(COLUMBIA, MO) - No more long lines or postage stamps! The city
of Columbia has introduced a new free service that allows its utility
customers to review account information and pay their utility bills
online or by phone.
Customers can view account balances, payment and consumption
history online and make secure payments using a credit card or e-check
from the convenience of their homes. In addition, account balance
details can be reviewed and payments can be made by phone.
First-time users need to have their social security, federal ID
or student Visa number on file with the Utility Customer Services Office
and register for a PIN before accessing this service. It is helpful to
have a copy of your bill handy the first time you use the service.
To get started, log on to www.GoColumbiaMo.com and enter
GoUtilities in the GoWord search box or call (573) 874-7694 to access
the automated phone system. Call the Utility Customer Services Office at
(573) 874-7380 to get your social security, federal ID or student Visa
number on file.
