City manager to review accomplishments and challenges

COLUMBIA, MO (January 6, 2005) -- City Manager Raymond A. Beck will
hold a press conference to review accomplishments for 2004 and
challenges for 2005. The press conference is scheduled for Friday, Jan.
7, at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers located on the 4th floor of City
Hall, 701 E. Broadway.

The press conference will be aired live on the Columbia Channel, the
city's government access cable channel. The Columbia Channel is
broadcast by Mediacom on channel 13 and by Charter Communications on
channel 2.

A copy of the presentation will be available at the public library and
on the city's Web site at www.GoColumbiaMo.com on the city manager's
page after the press conference.
