Public hearing for design, location of Southampton Drive Improvement
Project									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - A public hearing regarding location and design
of Southampton Drive from Providence Road easterly and northerly to
Nifong Boulevard is scheduled during the City Council meeting of Feb. 7,
2005, in the City Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall, 701
East Broadway. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
	The Southampton Drive project currently being considered is
approximately 3,400 feet in length from east of Providence Road easterly
and northerly to Route AC.
	Maps, plats and other detailed information prepared by the city
of Columbia will be available for public inspection and copying at the
office of the director of Public Works. Written statements and exhibits,
as well as other statements, will be made a part of the public hearing
transcript if received within 10 days after the date of the hearing.
Tentative schedules for construction will be discussed at the hearing.
This is an excellent opportunity for citizens to review planning
underway and make comments on the project.
