Street maintenance operations	
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Monday, July 25, at 7 a.m., APAC Inc.,
the contractor who was awarded the annual contract, will begin
cold-milling and asphalt overlay of various city streets. This work will
result in traffic delays and a street closure.
	Traffic will be monitored and maintained by flag men. The work
should be completed, weather permitting, and the streets should be fully
reopened by Friday, Aug. 5, at 8 a.m. Motorist and pedestrians are urged
to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an
alternate route whenever possible.

7/25  Vandiver Drive from Paris Road east to the beginning of the
concrete surface
Redcastle Court from Strathmore Drive to end
7/26  *(6 a.m.) Nifong Boulevard from Providence Road to Bethel, minor
milling of roadway in "from and to" locations 
Fairview Road from Broadway to Rollins Road
Chapel Hill from Fairview to Scott Boulevard, minor milling of roadway
at "from and to" locations
7/27  Broadway from Garth Avenue to West Boulevard (ROADWAY CLOSURE)
7/28  Garth from Sexton Road to Broadway  
Paving Operation
