Temporary closure of Sanford Street 
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Monday, Aug. 1, at 7 a.m., the University
of Missouri will begin utility repairs at the intersection of Sanford
Street and Conley Avenue. This work will result in the temporary closure
of Sanford Street east between Conley Avenue and Turner Avenue. 
	The work should be completed and the street should be reopened,
weather permitting, by Friday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
