North Davis Road closed for railroad crossing improvements

	(Columbia, MO) -- Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 2, weather permitting,
the Columbia Terminal Railroad (COLT) will replace its highway-rail
crossing on North Davis Road in northern Boone County. The crossing is
located approximately three miles north of Hallsville, Mo. The road will
be closed during construction and will be opened again for traffic on
Friday, Aug. 5.  
	The COLT is a short line railroad owned and operated by Columbia
Water & Light which provides railroad freight service to Columbia and
mid-Missouri.
