Paquin Tower art class to display work at Art League
COLUMBIA, MO (June 14, 2005) -- Members of the senior/adaptive program
at Paquin Tower have been invited to display their work at a Columbia
Art League exhibit.
The program at Paquin is administered by the Columbia Parks and
Recreation Department and is geared toward individuals more than 50
years of age or those with a mental or physical disability.
One of the programs offered at Paquin is an acrylic paint class. Class
participants will be displaying their work in an exhibit entitled
"American Images" at the Art League today (June 14) through July
16.
This is the first time class members have been invited to display their
work at a gallery. Each April, the class holds their own art show at
Paquin Tower, led by instructor Polly Dunavant.
Programs at Paquin Tower are organized for residents but are open to
the community. For more information about Paquin programs, call
874-7473.
