Skate Jam 2005 scheduled 

COLUMBIA, MO (June 14, 2005) -- Don't miss Skate Jam 2005, which will
be held from 2-6 p.m. on June 18 at the Columbia Skate Park at Cosmo
Park. The event will feature pro skater, Dave Davis, and skate team
demos. It is free of charge. 

All ages are welcome to participate and the event is open to those who
have been skating for years, just starting out and for those who just
want to watch. Participants will be able to enter the best trick contest
for a chance to win a prize. The day will also feature great music,
helmet giveaways and food. 

Skate Jam 2005 is being held to celebrate National Skateboarding Day
and is presented by Columbia Parks and Recreation, Columbia/Boone County
Health Department, Dream Catcher and Tiger Pilot Club.
