March Community Circle: 'Mighty Times - the Legacy of Rosa Parks'
What will be Our legacy - Community or Chaos?
(COLUMBIA, MO) - In honor of Women's History Month, join us
for a video presentation and small-group dialogue to reflect on
relationships of yesterday and today, and to consider actions for
impacting our legacy tomorrow. Adults and mature teens are invited to
attend the Community Circle "Mighty Times - the Legacy of Rosa
Parks" Thursday, March 10, from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in the Columbia
Public Library Friends Room.
Share and listen in guided conversation with fellow citizens to
different views and experiences to better understand one another and
discover common concerns. Bring a snack if you are able. Light
refreshments will be provided.
Community Circles are free, ongoing public events sponsored by
the city of Columbia Human Rights Commission to promote meaningful
citizen dialogue. Previous or regular attendance is not required.
