America Recycles 2005 'It All Comes Back To You'
(COLUMBIA, MO) - America Recycles Day is Nov. 15, 2005! This is
a day to start volunteering and set an example by recycling and buying
recycled products. This day is an inspiration to begin recycling on a
daily basis, and there are numerous opportunities to volunteer in the
community in addition to recycling.
The Public Works Recycling Program is showing a display and
offering ways to volunteer and learn more about recycling. This will be
presented at the Columbia Public Library from 12-2 p.m. on Nov. 12. The
display will include products made from recycled materials and show how
easy it is to recycle instead of throwing trash away.
Pledge to recycle more at home and at work. Pledge cards will be
available at the library display. Remember, if you're not buying
recycled, you're not really recycling. By completing a pledge card, you
will be entered in a drawing for prizes. Become a recycler today - it
all comes back to you! For more information, contact the Public Works
Volunteer Program at 874-6271 or go to www.AmericaRecyclesDay.org.
