City manager candidates to hold press conferences; participate in
community forum 

COLUMBIA, MO (November 10, 2005) -- The five city manager candidates
named by Mayor Darwin Hindman will hold press conferences on Friday,
Nov. 11, beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a community forum at 3:30
p.m., in the City Council Chamber, located on the fourth floor of City
Hall, 701 E. Broadway. The press conferences and forum will be aired
live on the Columbia Channel, a cable access station that broadcasts on
Charter Communications Channel 2 and on Mediacom Channel 13.
The press conferences are scheduled as follows:

1 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Norton Bonaparte
1:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. Steve Rasmussen
2 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Larry Stevens
2: 30 p.m. - 3 p.m. Sean Stegall
3 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Bill Watkins

The community forum is scheduled for 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. During this
forum, moderators Rod Gelatt and Jo Sapp will ask the candidates
questions submitted by members of the community. The public will not be
able to question candidates directly at the forum. Citizens had the
opportunity to submit questions until noon on Thursday, November 10. The
community forum will be rebroadcast Nov. 12 - 15 at 6 a.m., 9 a.m., 6
p.m. and 9 p.m.
