The Power of the Circle - Sharing Different Traditions of Native
American Tribes
(COLUMBIA, MO) - In honor of Native American Heritage Month,
local citizens will share about the significance of the circle in
different Native American tribal traditions at the Community Circle on
Thursday, Nov. 17, from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in the Columbia Public
Library Friends Room.
"LET'S TALK, COLUMBIA!" monthly Community Circles,
sponsored by the Columbia Human Rights Commission to promote citizen
dialogue, are free, ongoing events for adults and mature youth from all
walks of life. Previous or regular attendance is not required. Light
refreshments are provided. This is a unique opportunity to listen,
learn, and connect with other community members.
