Statement from Mayor Darwin Hindman

City Manager Ray Beck receives favorable review

COLUMBIA, MO (November 11, 2005) -- The City Council met in closed
session last night to review and evaluate the performance of City
Manager Ray Beck.

The City Council found his performance to be outstanding and voted to
give him the maximum merit pay increase, which is two percent, for the
remainder of his term. The merit raise increases his salary to
$144,377.
