University Avenue sidewalk construction 
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 7 a.m., the
University of Missouri will begin removal and replacement of sidewalks
and sidewalk ramps on University Avenue. This work will result in the
temporary sidewalk closures on University Avenue between Hitt Street and
Matthews Street. 
	The work should be completed and the sidewalks should be
reopened, weather permitting, by Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 7 p.m. Motorists
and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
