RACE - The Power of an Illusion, Episode 2: The Story We Tell	

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - In August, a diverse group of people gathered
to view and discuss "RACE - The Power of an Illusion", Episode 1:
The Difference Between Us." The series continues Thursday, Oct. 20,
from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the Columbia Public Library Friends Room
with "Episode 2 - The Story We Tell", an eye-opening video which
uncovers the roots of the race concept in North America. There will also
be an opportunity for stimulating dialogue with fellow citizens on the
provocative topic of race. 
	"LET'S TALK, COLUMBIA!" monthly Community Circles are
free, ongoing events that are open to the public and sponsored by the
Columbia Human Rights Commission.  Previous or regular attendance is not
required. Light refreshments are provided. Bring a snack to share if you
are able. Come with an open mind to listen and learn, and a willingness
to participate on some level with other community members.
